VIQ could fix all technical problems that we experienced in the past and we now have a reliable and efficient fax service. For VIQ member, the cost is only $0.10 per page per fax number.

Summer is over!

Hello everyone

Summer is already behind us and an other school year is starting. With September come all information sharing meetings that I welcome you to attend.

Last Wednesday of the month: QAVA (Quinte Association of Volunteer Administrators). Always at VIQ office, share your volunteer management question and your volunteer needs. Time is also available to share about what's going on in your agency. 2pm.

4th Thursday of the month: Community Services Network, held at the public school board, Prince Edward room. Two guest each month share with attendees on various topics. Time is available to share information about your agency. 9:00 to 11:00

4th Wednesday of the month: Allied Professional, held at the Military Family Resource Centre, Trenton. From 12 to 1pm, bring your lunch. Some time to share about your agency, guest speakers, everyone welcome.

3rd Tuesday of each month: Brown Bag Lunch in Madoc. Held from 11:30 to 1pm at the Ontario Works office. Guest speakers and information sharing. Bring your lunch

2nd Tuesday of the month: Brown Bag Lunch in Bancroft. Held at the Centenial Manor from 12:00 to 1:00pm. Bring your lunch.

Those meetings are a great opportunity to meet your peers, share about what's going on in your agency and get advices on various topics. Hope to see you there !

The Ladies Golf Tournament - A huge success

Thank you to all of those that participated in our 7th annual Ladies Charity Golf Tournament. With your support, VIQ raised $13,000 to support the services that we provide to all non-profit and individuals of Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. This year's event was sold out so if you are interested in golfing in our tournament, please call us at 613-969-8862 or 1-866-340-0899 to pre-register.

Thank you to the Trent Valley Machinist Union Local 1788 for their generous support. Thanks to the Body Shop and Woody's Cooler for their long-time commitment. Thanks to the Intelligencer and Chris Maguire of CIBC Wood Gundy. A special thanks to all of the volunteers who helped in the planning and the day of the event.

I would like to mention how our Honourary Chair Ingrid Moore helped us. We are so happy with the support she brought to this event. Thank you Ingrid and see you again in the 2008 tournament !

7th Ladies Charity Golf Classic

The Trent Valley Machinist Union Local 1788 together with The Body Shop, Woody's Coolers and Ingrid Moore, Honourary Chair, invites you to the 7th annual Ladies Charity Golf Classic, at Oakhills Golf Course on July 5th, 2007. Activities such as mini-spa, courtesy of The Body Shop, Warm-up exercises with Trenton Curves for Women, Putting Contest, sponsored by the Women's Sales and Ad Club of Belleville, Hole-in-one contests ($10,000 sponsored by Jane Mulligan, Royal Lepage Pro Alliance Realty and a car, sponsored by Saturn of Belleville), a fahsion show, courtesy of Northern Reflections, raffle, prizes and more.
