International Day of the Volunteers

Again this year, Chris Maguire of CIBC Wood Gundy in partnership with VIQ will be presenting the International Day of the Volunteers on Dec. 4th at the Sears Home Store. Event will be at 6pm, Via Rail passes Grand Prize, MC is Mark Filban of Classic Hits. Invitation to your volunteers will be faxed soon



Quinte Arts Council events

Tickets are on sale for the Quinte Arts Council’s Crystal Holiday Magic to be held Nov. 14, 20, 22, 23 and 27. The event will kick off on Nov. 14 with Skate with Santa, a free skate at Memorial Arena, downtown Belleville, after the Santa Claus Parade. The event will continue at the Ramada Inn, 11 Bay Bridge Rd., Belleville – On Nov. 20, enjoy the Crystal Cocktail Dance Party with silent auction and music by The Reasons; on Nov. 22, The Crystal Ball Gala Dinner and Dance will feature an amazing live and silent auction and music by Filet of Soul (sold out); Nov. 23 is an all-day event for families starting with Rudolf’s Pancake Breakfast, music and fun with Magoo, and Dufflebag Theatre’s hilarious production of Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer; then it’s Hot Chocolate with Santa in the Crystal Palace, then more fun with Magoo, music with Andy Forgie and Dufflebag Theatre’s A Christmas Carol. The popular Holiday Home Tour will be held Nov. 27, and will feature live music at each home. Tickets are at the Quinte Arts Council, 36 Bridge St. East, downtown Belleville.
